Alabama Football: Jerry Jeudy will be steal outside top 10 in 2020 NFL Draft
Draft Projection
This 2020 NFL Draft is in high demand for quarterbacks and offensive tackles in the top 10 selections. There is a chance that Jerry Jeudy may find himself in the top 10 as a surprise pick but the most realistic expectations for him as a prospect will likely be just outside of the top 10 to top 15.
Depending on which team in the 11th to 15th selection slot needs in a top-rookie wide receiver, they will choose a dominant route-runner and versatile wide out in Jeudy or a deep-threat target like CeeDee Lamb.
The New York Jets, with the 11th pick, need a No. 1 receiver for quarterback Sam Darnold if they cannot get a reliable tackle first. Las Vegas Raiders general manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden love the attributes of Jeudy and what he could bring to the offense.
The San Francisco 49ers, with the 13th overall pick, could use a No. 1 receiver for their Super Bowl-contending team as well. This is especially so after they lost Emmanuel Sanders to free agency. Finally, the Denver Broncos, with the 15th overall pick, are essentially all-in for a top wide receiver for young quarterback in Drew Lock.
While Jeudy might be the top-rated wide receiver in many analyst’s draft boards, the Jets might take Lamb based on their deep receiver needs. The Raiders at 12 or the 49ers at 13 make a great new home for Jeudy. It would be a steal for the Broncos at 15 to get Jeudy if both Las Vegas or San Francisco go with another position need.
Projection: Mid-first round
