The Michigan Wolverines are coming off of a nine-win season. They lost their fourth straight bowl game to the Alabama Crimson Tide, however. The Wolverines have won 10 games three seasons in five years under Harbaugh, but they do not seem to have taken the next step.

They lost seven players from last season’s defense including Michael Dwumfour who transferred to Indiana. They need a lost a lot of depth from their defensive front. They did address and recruit the defense heavily.

Of the players they signed, Braiden McGregor is ready to play right away. He fits the mold of a “freak” athlete. He is quick off of the ball and has a nose for quarterbacks. He is naturally strong with a freakish bull rush. He drops anchor and sets the edge in the run game as well.

He has strong hands and good feet. This comes from playing offense most of his high school career. He is an elite level athlete that will take snaps from veteran players this season.
