Indiana was not that easy to figure out. They return a lot of talent from last season’s eight-win team. Some changes are coming to Bloomington, however. Last year’s starting quarterback Peyton Ramsey has decided to transfer making room for highly-touted quarterback Michael Penix Jr. to take over.

Penix will have two talented receivers in Ty Fryfogle and Whop Phlyor to throw to, though. Stevie Scott also returns at running back as well as the talented Peyton Hendershot at tight end.

What fell apart last season for the Hoosiers down the stretch was the defense. The Hoosiers gave up over 30 points in four of their last six games. Jovan Swann offers depth along the defensive line as well as leadership from a winning program. Deciding to come back home and play for the Hoosiers might benefit Indiana as much as Swann.
