A few former Nebraska football players will likely hear their names called during the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s where they may land.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers 56 year streak of having at least one player selected in the NFL Draft came to an end last year when no Huskers heard their name called.

While Scott Frost and company still have a lot of work to do to bring Nebraska’s program back to national prominence they should keep their NFL Draft pick-less streak end at one year.

Here’s a look at where the Huskers’ 2020 Draft prospects may land.

ILB. Mohamed Barry. 6. player. 30. Scouting Report. Nebraska. Pick Analysis

Nebraska middle linebacker Mohamed Barry will likely be the first Husker off the board in a sixth round that should feature several. Barry made 245 total tackles in his four-year college career with 14.5 coming for a loss.

Barry would best serve for a team looking for a backup middle linebacker and starting special teamer such as the New York Jets.

The Jets lost starter C.J. Mosley to an injury early last season and where left with little depth at middle linebacker.

In case of another injury situation, Barry would be a smart draft choice to assure depth is indeed in place.

Projection: Sixth round (Jets)
