Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Alabama. Jerry Jeudy. player. 1. 52

The Crimson Tide have gone through multiple star wide receivers that have been selected in the first round of the NFL draft. There was Julio Jones, Amari Cooper and Calvin Ridley and now there will be Jerry Jeudy.

Jeudy has been an impact player for the Crimson Tide since his freshman year in 2017. His best season came in 2018 where he caught 68 passes for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns. The following season, the Tide transitioned Jeudy from outside to inside receiver where he caught 77 passes for 1,163 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The star wide out is the best route-runner in this draft and in the past numerous drafts where he displays his great speed, hands and elusiveness. There will be teams that will attempt to trade up for the Alabama receiver.

Last season, the Jaguars were ranked 16th in the league in passing yards per game (235). This was with D.J. Clark as a top receiver but they could use their No. 1 pick for a receiver to help attain the top-ranked corps in the AFC South.

Projection: First round, No. 9 overall (Jaguars)
