Alabama Football: Predicting where Crimson Tide land in 2020 NFL Draft
Terrell Lewis is a player who has been through an up-and-down career with the Alabama Crimson Tide. After two seasons of fighting through significant injuries, Lewis made a huge impression in his senior season with the Crimson Tide.
In his senior season this past year, Lewis accounted for 31 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, and two pass deflections. He was the best and arguably one of the only pass-rushing specialists as a defensive lineman for the Crimson Tide this past season.
He is a tenacious pass rusher with a great motor and a great set of moves to get to the quarterback. One thing that he lacks is significant speed and potential durability to stay fully healthy.
There will be plenty of teams looking to find some impact in the creating pass rush in the first two rounds of the draft. The Dallas Cowboys are a team that needs to improve the secondary significance, find some valuable receivers, and replenish the defensive line at the edge in the first two rounds. Lewis will likely be one of the best players remaining at this point.
Projection: Second round, No. 51 overall (Cowboys)
