Weaknesses

While he is a great athletic pass rusher, he does have some slight significant problems that occur in the pass rush. He has some problems with balance especially when he makes contact without extending his arms for support. His use of his hands while attempting to pass rush is wild and unstable.

Chaisson is still learning to learn to read the opposing offenses in terms of where the run is going and where the offensive linemen attacks. This makes him easy to be pulled in by offensive linemen at the second level and will need to more alert in addressing the blocking schemes. Lacks the use of his arms to push and drive his offensive linemen.

Questions of his health and durability will be a concern with him missing the entire 2018 college football season with a torn ACL. Whenever he is attacking the edge, he can maneuver more to the outside, allowing for the running back to go through a much bigger gap.
