The 2020 NFL Draft has come to a close and we now move to the next group waiting in the wings. Which Texas A&M football stars are next?

The 2020 NFL Draft has concluded and a handful of Aggies have moved on to the professional ranks.

Justin Madubuike, a junior defensive tackle, was the first off the board at No. 71 to the Baltimore Ravens where he will join Otaro Alaka and Daylon Mack. He was followed by Braden Mann in the sixth round at No. 191 overall as the nation’s best punter joined the New York Jets.

That was all in terms of actual drafted players, but the Aggies had a few free agents sign. Wide receiver Quartney Davis, who originally agreed to terms with the Cowboys was offered more from Minnesota and ended up signing with the Vikings. Fellow wide receiver Kendrick Rogers signed with the Cowboys.

Debione Renfro, who entered the draft as a safety, signed with the Seahawks and Charles Oliver still waits to find an NFL home.

There are quite a few seniors looking to prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft and hoping to hear their names called this time next year. However, we start this one out with a junior that could — assuming he has the breakout season I believe he could have — make the move to the professional ranks a little early.
