Miami is no stranger to the transfer portal, as they have been dipping in there for talent the past couple of seasons.

While last year’s big transfer portal pass rusher Trevon Hill did not work out like Hurricanes fans had hoped, Quincy Roche figures to be a different beast and could see his draft stock go soaring with a big season in Coral Gables.

Roche had a big season in 2019 for the Temple Owls, posting 13 sacks, 49 tackles and six pass deflections and he’s ranked as Pro Football Focus’ highest-rated returning pass rusher in college football this season.

The Temple transfer brings 26 career sacks to Miami and is a speed rusher with really good size at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds.

I think he could be a versatile player at the next level and if he puts up similar numbers against ACC competition, Roche could be a top 15 pick in next years NFL draft.
