The freshman offensive player of the year in the Pac-12 in 2018 and now a junior running back for Oregon State is poised for a big year. Jermar Jefferson dealt with a nagging injury his sophomore year that limited him to only 142 attempts and 682 yards on the ground, almost half of what his freshman campaign brought.

Now that Jefferson has spent the offseason being able to heal up, we can expect him to come to form once again and lead the Pac-12. He will be a guy that climbs the draft boards no doubt as the season progresses. His only pitfall has been the slew of injuries he has faced being such a workhorse back for the Beavers.

Oregon State fans should be in for a treat in 2020, fighting back from years of mediocre to sub-par seasons. Jefferson could be the golden ticket to compete for a Pac-12 title.

We should see a really good offense around the running back this year as well, helping his case.
