3. Tennessee Volunteers

If Taulia Tagovailoa wants to stay in the SEC, Alabama’s cross-division rival Tennessee Volunteers could be a logical landing spot.

Jarrett Guarantano, who’s started parts of the last three seasons for the Vols, is entering his senior season and the options behind him aren’t guaranteed to be viable starters. Brian Maurer has struggled in his auditions while JT Shrout has also not quite looked like a future starter.

By choosing the Vols, Tagovailoa could one year behind Guarantano, he can learn from one of the leagues most experienced starters and groom to take over the starting job in 2021 and beyond.

Imagine a future with Taulia facing off against Alabama and Bryce Young and it might even lead to him proving himself as an elite quarterback. This would be a major power move by Jeremy Pruitt in the SEC.
