This is more of a projection than reality right now but if Tommy DeVito can stay healthy, he has some intriguing tools to be a day two pick in next year’s NFL draft.

DeVito was just a sophomore last season and it was his first full season as the starter and he had a solid season throwing for 2,360 yards, 19 touchdowns and only five interceptions with a completion percentage over 63 percent.

The biggest knock I have on DeVito is he only averaged seven yards per attempt and while I think some of that is due to Syracuse relying on a lot of wide receiver screens in their offense, DeVito needs to show that he can push the ball downfield if he wants to be something more than a late-round draft pick.

Keep an eye on DeVito in 2020.
