With the revolving door of talent continuing to turn, here’s a look at which players are poised to break out for Notre Dame football in 2020.

With the NCAA’s most recent announcement that athletes of all sports can return to campus come June, the possibility of a college football season in 2020 has taken yet another step forward.

However, decisions regarding the presence of athletes on campus will remain at the discretion of schools and their respective conferences.

With required athletic activities banned through June 30, it’ll be interesting to see how voluntary activities proceed when they eventually do take place. Despite all of this, we as college football fans remain left to speculation. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, of course, as half of sport always seems to be looking ahead to what’s to come.

In this case, we’ll be taking a look at a few Notre Dame players with significant upside heading into the 2020 season. With many potential candidates, here are some who are most primed for a breakout year.
