Miami Football: Top 3 targets for 2021 recruiting class
Leonard Taylor is the third-ranked defensive tackle in the country and is a player that could be an instant impact player for the Hurricanes the second he steps on campus and could develop into a future first-round pick.
Taylor checks in at 6-foot-4, 255 pounds and still has a lot of room to develop physically, like most high school athletes do. He is an excellent interior pass rusher, with great length and that is something that is coveted amongst all defensive linemen nowadays.
Defensive tackle is a bit of a position of need for the Hurricanes as Jon Ford is a senior and guys such as Jason Blissett and Jordan Miller have not yet developed into impact players yet and Nesta Silvera struggling to stay healthy and on the field.
Leonard is considered to be a Florida Gator-lean at the moment, but with a big season, look for the Hurricanes to make a run at signing the talented defensive tackle.
