Miami Football: Top 3 All-ACC candidates for 2020 season
Quincy Roche was the top defensive player in the transfer portal this offseason and the Hurricanes were fortunate to land him and form one of the top defensive lines in the entire country.
Roche is transferring in from Temple where he was an instant impact player since he was freshman. During his first two seasons in Philadelphia, he combined for 13 sacks and five forced fumbles, but then he exploded onto the national scene in 2019. He recorded 13 sacks and graded out as the second most valuable pass rusher in the country, behind only Ohio State’s Chase Young, who had one of the best pass rushing seasons in recent memory.
The Temple transfer will team up with the number one player on this list to form one of the top pass rushing duos in the entire country and help keep Miami’s defense as one of the best in the country and be a potential all ACC performer.
