This may come as a bit of a surprise as Jaylen Waddle does not have the eye-popping numbers that Ja’Marr Chase may have, but I have a suspecting feeling that he is about to have a career year with Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs off to the NFL.

Waddle will be used in a variety of ways in this offense, as he will be used on special and as a rusher. He had a career game in the Iron Bowl versus Auburn last season, recording four catches for 98 yards and three touchdowns.

While he does not have the eye-popping stats of the other guys on this list, he will be taking on a bigger role in the offense and that will be a big help in his case.

Alabama will be winning plenty of games this fall, so staying nationally relevant should not be an issue for Waddle. He will be teaming up with DeVonta Smith to form the most dangerous wide receiver duo in the country and that could limit the touches that Waddle has.

Waddle is one of the most exciting and fastest players in the country and that is why I think he is the most likely receiver to get an invite to the Heisman ceremony.
