Wisconsin Badgers. 5. 809. Green Bay (Wisc.). player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oct. 3

In what will be one of the most anticipated games of the season, Notre Dame will play a second consecutive neutral site game, and this time it will be at one of the most historic sports venues in the country: Lambeau Field.

This is a matchup of two teams that have not played since 1964 and it will be a huge point in both of their seasons. This will be Notre Dame’s first big test of the season and Wisconsin will be coming off of a road game against Michigan, it will be interesting to see if Wisconsin is coming off a big win and has momentum or if they will be coming off an early Big Ten loss.

Both of these teams could be in the top 10 and will have playoff aspirations. While the game is in Wisconsin, Notre Dame fans do travel well and I don’t think it will be that much of a disadvantage for the Irish.

I have gone back and forth on who I think will win this game, because I really do feel as if they are evenly matched and it will be a coin flip. I’ll give a slight edge to the Irish because of the experience of Ian Book.

Final Score: Notre Dame 27, Wisconsin 24 (5-0)

871. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. South Bend (Ind.). Stanford Cardinal. player. Oct. 10. 6

In what is usually a closely contested ballgame, Notre Dame and Stanford have played in some classics over the years. While Notre Dame owns a two-game winning streak in the series, these two teams usually go back and forth from year to year.

Stanford is hoping to bounce back after a surprising 4-8 season a year ago and they hope to prove that they can get back to their winning ways and prove 2019 was a fluke.

Stanford will have a strong secondary with the return of star cornerback Paulson Adebo and the Cardinal should have better luck with injuries than they did last season, but there are too many questions about the running game and the front-seven on defense to expect them to return to a top 15 team this season.

Final Score: Notre Dame 38, Stanford 17 (6-0)
