5. Justin Fields

Yes, technically Justin Fields falls under the Ohio State umbrella on this list, but I couldn’t complete it without dedicating an entire page to him. He’s arguable the best player returning in all of college football and he lead an OSU offense that averaged 46.9 points per game. As a Michigan State fan, 46 points in a game is a once-every-couple-of-years type of score for me.

Fields finished third in Heisman voting with a 67 percent completion rate, 3,273 yards passing, 41 touchdowns and three interceptions. The two guys who beat him? Joe Burrow and Chase Young, the top two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Expect Fields to dominate on the field next season — get it?

Seriously, though, this Ohio State team is going to be scary and they’re my pick to win the College Football Playoff along with Fields winning the Heisman. His potential is through the roof after having an entire year in the system under his belt and he will be unstoppable.

Any team that wants to beat OSU will have to put up some serious points.
