This will be an easy opener for the Tigers, the biggest concern that Auburn should have is injuries and doing their best to make sure they get enough reps, but that everyone is healthy for the big game the following week against the Tar Heels.

Final Score: Auburn 56, Alcorn State 3 (1-0)

Atlanta (Ga.). North Carolina Tar Heels. 2. player. Scouting Report. 838. Pick Analysis. Sept. 12

In one of the best games of Week 2, Auburn and North Carolina will meet in a neutral site clash that will be a big opportunity for both teams to make early statements in the season and declare themselves potential contenders.

North Carolina has been revived by head coach Mack Brown and there is a lot of buzz building around this program heading into the 2020 season and a lot of that hype has to do with quarterback Sam Howell. He took the ACC by storm and threw 38 touchdown passes last season and will be back and looking for more in 2020.

This game has all the makings for an upset win here. Auburn is replacing four starters on the offensive line, lacks a top tailback and is replacing a lot of starters and key players on defense.

I think that these issues will be fixed as the season goes on and Auburn will be a better team down the stretch, but I don’t think Bo Nix is good enough to carry a team on his own and will lose a dual with his sophomore counterpart.

Tar Heels pull the upset in Atlanta.

Final Score: Auburn 35, North Carolina 38 (1-1)
