SEC: Florida Gators

I mean, does anybody really think Florida is going to beat Georgia next season? We may never find out, but my money is on no. Georgia loses the most overrated quarterback in college football and returns eight starters to arguably the best defense in the game.

Florida, on the other hand, lost 13 seniors from last year’s team while retaining quarterback Kyle Trask. They might do some damage in the conference, but all signs point to the fact that they’ll be somewhere around fourth place behind Alabama, LSU and Georgia.

Barring some sort of miracle involving Tim Tebow rejoining the team at the age of 32, I’d say Florida wins nine games. That’s not awful, but for a team projected to upend Georgia in the SEC East, that’s nowhere near expectations.
