Sept. 19. 3. player. 895. Pick Analysis. Boise (Idaho). Boise State Broncos. Scouting Report

These two teams met for the first time last season and it was a very memorable game, at least for Boise State fans.

Florida State raced out to a big lead but Broncos freshman quarterback Hank Bachmeier led the Broncos to a comeback victory and threw for over 400 yards in the process. Bachmeier is back and the Broncos will be looking to make it two in a row over FSU in their second ever meeting.

This will be one of the longest road trips that the Seminoles have ever taken as a team, as they are going to travel all the way out to the famed blue turf to take on the Broncos and while Florida State may have the talent advantage on paper, Boise State is a veteran team that always shows up to play against big time competition.

Boise wins a close one at home.

Final Score: Florida State 28, Boise State 31 (2-1)

In their ACC opener for 2020, Florida State hits the road again and will be traveling to Raleigh to take on Atlantic division rival NC State.

The Wolfpack will be looking to bounce back from a surprising 4-8 season under head coach Dave Doeren. The Wolfpack will need to make big strides on defense to get back to a bowl game in the ACC.

NC State is used to having consistent quarterback play under Doeren, but they have struggled at the position recently and until that gets fixed, the Wolfpack will find it hard to win in the ACC.

Florida State won last year handily 31-13 after two straight wins by the Wolfpack in 2018 and 2017. Look for the Seminoles to make it two in a row in 2020.

Final Score: Florida State 41, NC State 24 (3-1, 1-0 ACC)
