9. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Nov. 7. Miami Hurricanes. 834. Miami (Fla.)

In one of the most heated rivalries in the country, the Hurricanes and the Seminoles will meet in Miami with bragging rights on the line.

After winning seven straight from 2010-16, the Canes have now won three straight in the series and won in a blowout in Tallahassee last season. Miami will have a new look on offense with SMU offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee coming in to call plays and Houston transfer quarterback D’Eriq King will add a new element to the Hurricanes offense that they have not seen.

This rivalry has not mattered in terms of national implications in quite some time, but this does not take away from how much it matter to both programs and fanbases.

These are two teams that are very similar and both will have a lot to prove in 2020. The Hurricanes will have one of the best defensive lines in all of football and that will be a bad matchup against what will probably be another struggling offensive line. That will be a big enough advantage against FSU and for the first time in years, Miami has an upper hand at the quarterback position.

The Hurricanes win their fourth in a row in this series.

Final Score: Florida State 24, Miami 38 (5-4, 3-3)

Boston College Eagles. 10. 826. Nov. 14. Tallahassee (Fla.). player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Florida State has dominated this series ever since the Eagles moved into the ACC in 2005, leading it 10-4 since 2005. These two division rivals are both welcoming in new coaches for 2020, with former Ohio State defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley taking over in Chestnut Hill.

The Eagles are undergoing a lot of changes and this roster will take some time to build into a contender in the ACC.

Boston College is losing running back AJ Dillon to the NFL and he will be hard to replace but David Bailey is plenty capable and the Eagles have a veteran offensive line, but quarterback is a major question mark for this team.

Hafley is well thought of in coaching circles and is a good recruiter and should build Boston College back into competing for ACC Atlantic titles, as the Eagles are the last team in the division not named Clemson or Florida State to win the Atlantic.

This season will be all about finding out which young talent is capable of being built around. FSU wins big here.

Final Score: Florida State 42, Boston College 14 (6-4, 4-3)
