Scouting Report. 9. 892. Pick Analysis. Nov. 7. Chapel Hill (N.C.). UConn Huskies. player

In what will serve as the Tar Heels’ homecoming game, North Carolina will face a struggling UConn team that’s failing to find some magic under head coach Randy Edsall, who is in his second go-around with the Huskies.

UConn is one of the worst programs currently in the country and the outlook is bleak for 2020. The Tar Heels win big here.

Final Score: North Carolina 63, UConn 14 (8-1)

Nov. 14. Pitt Panthers. player. Scouting Report. Chapel Hill (N.C.). 10. 866. Pick Analysis

Pitt has been known to serve upsets in November, beating Clemson in 2016 and Miami in 2017 and most famously West Virginia in 2007.

North Carolina needs to give the Panthers their full attention as head coach Pat Narduzzi always has his team ready to play in the biggest games. The Panthers are bring ing back an experienced roster, including seven returning starters on what was the 15th-ranked defense in the country.

Kenny Pickett is looking to take another step forward in offensive coordinator Mark Whipple’s offense which is known for its downfield passing attack and that is an area in which he has struggled.

Pitt will be a dangerous team to face, especially so late in the season. They’re a darkhorse contender for the Coastal and a big reason for that is defense.

North Carolina wins in a closer than expected game.

Final Score: North Carolina 38, Pittsburgh 28 (9-1, 5-1)
