Scouting Report. Chestnut Hill (Mass.). Boston College Eagles. 11. Pick Analysis. Nov. 21. player. 826

North Carolina will take its final road trip of the season to Chestnut Hill to take on a rebuilding Boston College squad. The Eagles will be looking to see if they can improve after firing former coach Steve Addazio for not being able to break past the 7-5 barrier and be a serious contender in the Atlantic.

Boston College is turning to former Ohio State defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley to lead the program and he has a good reputation as a recruiter and defensive strategist.

There is some talent for the Eagles, but they will have to replace A.J Dillon and Anthony Brown. Couple that with a new coaching staff, and it is not hard to see the Eagles struggling a lot in 2020.

Boston College is trending in the right direction but 2020 will be tough.

Final Score: North Carolina 45, Boston College 20 (10-1, 6-1)

North Carolina will close out the 2020 campaign with another in-state rival.

The Wolfpack are another ACC team looking to have a bounce-back season, after slipping to a 4-8 record under coach Dave Doeren last season. The Wolfpack were plagued by poor and inconsistent quarterback play, which is uncharacteristic of Doeren as he’s known to develop them.

The Wolfpack may not be better than they were a year ago and could be one of the worst teams in the conference in 2020. That won’ t be favorable against a surging North Carolina team.

Final Score: North Carolina 52, N.C State 24 (11-1, 7-1)
