LSU will be looking to bounce back after the Texas game with a game against C-USA foe Rice. Rice had one of the worst offense in the country last season and the outlook for the Owls does not appear to be much better.

LSU wins big here and gets back on track.

Final Score: LSU 55, Rice 10 (2-1)

Baton Rouge (La.). 841. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 4. player. Sept. 26. Ole Miss Rebels

For the SEC opener, the Tigers will face one of their SEC West rivals and new Rebels coach Lane Kiffin, who is returning to the SEC in 2020. Ole Miss will be coming off their SEC opener against Auburn and this game is ending what will be a tough September for the Rebels.

Ole Miss will be undergoing a pretty big change on offense after being led by Rich Rodriguez the past few season and he emphasized the quarterback run a lot, which played to the strength of John Rhys Plumlee, but Kiffin is going to be looking to be more balanced.

The Rebels are a promising team for the future, but with a rough early schedule and a defense that was among the worst in the SEC, it could be a bumpy start in 2020. Tigers win their SEC opener handily.

Final Score: LSU 38, Ole Miss 14 (3-1, 1-0 SEC)
