2. John Dunmore, WR

The wide receiver room looks like it’s gonna be the group with the most questions coming into the season. With KJ Hamler getting drafted and Justin Shorter transferring, Jahan Dotson remains the most experienced guy.

There’s plenty of youth and potential amongst the other guys, but Dunmore seems primed for a breakout season. The redshirt freshman has already been around the team for a full year, which could give him an advantage over some of the other young receivers. He was a four-star recruit out of Florida.

There were some questions about his size and physicality when he got to campus, but he bulked up this past offseason. He is now listed at 191 pounds compared to his high school weight of 172 and the 247Sports’ scouting report of Dunmore out of high school said he was a “developed route-runner who can set up defenders with quickness and fails to telegraph cuts or lose speed in and out of breaks. Smooth runner. Strong hands. Can make contested catches but plays slightly smaller than listed.”

Dunmore should be able to play with more physicality this year with the added muscle. With Dotson being the only known commodity in the receiver rooms, a few guys are going to need to step up and make plays, Dunmore could be one of those dudes.
