This Clemson defensive line is downright scary and should end up being the best in the country. It might not end up on the same level as the 2018 group that had three guys drafted in the first 17 picks, but god speed to every offensive line they face.

Freshmen Bryan Bresee is joining the already-elite line and could end up starting right away.

According to 24Ssports, Bresee is the No. 1 overall prospect in 2020 and the 18th-highest rated recruit of all time for their rankings.

Bresee is 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, and was unstoppable in high school. Watching his highlights, it was actually unfair how much bigger he was than everyone else — picture Aaron Donald against a group of middle schoolers. He’s already the biggest guy amongst the defensive linemen at Clemson.

The 247Sports scouting report on Bresee said, “No-doubt immediate impact elite Power Five player with No. 1 overall NFL Draft choice upside.”

Brent Venables is always rotating guys in and out on defense, especially with big leads in the second half. Bresee will get plenty of playing time and will have a shot to become a starter early on.

With the insane amount of talent on the line, he likely won’t need to face many double teams like he did in high school, even though that didn’t stop him. He could put up some big time sack and tackles for loss numbers and get the immediate attention of NFL GM’s this season.
