3. K.J. Costello, QB (Stanford to Mississippi State)

K.J. Costello might not be able to match the numbers that some transfers from last year put up, but you can guarantee he’ll ball out at Mississippi State. Pretty much any quarterback you started under Mike Leach would probably be considered a top guy in the country.

Taking over this new system, Leach has already snagged a great talent out of Palo Alto. Despite spending most of 2019 injured, Costello put up strong numbers in 2018 with over 3,500 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. You can only imagine these numbers will skyrocket under Leach who is known for his air-raid offenses.

Costello was a four-star, top-50 recruit in high school and made an immediate impact at Stanford. The California-native is getting ready for a big move to Mississippi and only time will tell if he can adjust to the new system.
