Pick Analysis. 3. player. 877. Scouting Report. CB. Junior. Dreshun Miller

After playing two years for Eastern Arizona College, Dreshun Miller enrolled at WVU in January of 2019. And at 6-foot-1 with a budding resume, he was in the plans to play immediately before suffering a preseason knee injury that sidelined him for the year; 2020 will be different.

Miller was one of the most highly-touted junior college prospects in the nation before he committed to West Virginia, ranked 10th nationally with a four-star rating by 247Sports. He turned down offers from LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among other Power Five programs.

The recognition was well-deserved, too, as Miller racked up 85 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 12 pass breakups and two interceptions during his two seasons at EAC.

With a long offseason to get healthy, Miller will become a staple in West Virginia’s secondary during Neal Brown’s second season. Sophomore Nicktroy Fortune is the only returning cornerback that started any games last season, as Hakeem Bailey and Keith Washington graduated. This pits Miller front-and-center as a likely candidate to not only win a starting corner spot, but to flourish in it.
