Scouting Report. DL. Jeffery Pooler. player. 877. Pick Analysis. Senior. 3

When it comes to West Virginia football, everyone knows about the Stills brothers. The duo from Fairmont has combined for 90 tackles, 35 tackles for loss and 18 sacks during their careers thus far. But they don’t do any of it alone.

Senior lineman Jeffery Pooler Jr. has been one of the main rotation players along the defensive line with the Stills brothers over the past couple seasons. His numbers pale in comparison — 26 career tackles (six tackles for loss), 3.5 sacks three pass deflections — but like another player on this list, it’s a play here and a play there from Pooler that can help the Mountaineers.

Dante and Darius will do most of the heavy lifting, allowing Pooler to make splash plays.

With 28 career games played, Pooler is a veteran West Virginia can count on. And they’ll need him during the early stages of the 2020 season as Taijh Alston is expected to be sidelined with an injury. That leaves the Stills brothers, Pooler and sophomore Jordan Jefferson with experience along the trenches.

If teams focus on Dante and Darius, Pooler will see more one-on-one opportunities than ever before.
