Last season, the Cardinals gave the Irish all they could handle in the season opener losing 35-17. They made lots of mistakes in that game, and a dominant Irish pass rush exposed their offensive line.

Notre Dame’s rush defense was also exposed. The Irish surrendered 258 rushing yards. This season, Louisville travels to South Bend to take on the Irish. Notre Dame’s rush defense should be better, and the secondary is just as good this season as last.

Louisville will play tough, but the Irish are the better team, and they are on a mission.

Final Score: Louisville 17, Notre Dame 38 (3-2, 2-2)

Last season, the Seminoles defeated the Cardinals 35-25 in Tallahassee. It’s difficult to imagine anything different this season. Marvin Wilson and the best players from the 2017 recruiting class return to elevate the program under first-year coach Mike Norvell.

Despite the turnover at Florida State, it’s not easy to trust the Cardinals’ defense. The Seminoles are talented on both sides of the ball, and the Cardinals are still attempting to build their talent depth in year two of the Scott Satterfield experience.

The Cardinals are going to struggle blocking Florida State’s pass rush, and the Seminole secondary looks to be fierce as well. Louisville’s offense is going to have difficulty scoring points.

Final Score: Louisville 13, Florida State 35 (3-3, 2-3)
