Last season, the Orange laid 34 points on the Cardinals in upstate New York. The problem? They surrendered 56 points. This season might be more of the same. The Orange lost their best defensive players and a lot of experience on offense.

Quarterback Tommy DeVito has to come up huge for the Orange to have a shot in this one. The Cardinals could run up 50 again and give up fewer points this time.

Final Score: Louisville 56, Syracuse 28 (6-3, 5-3)

This was another high-scoring affair the Cardinals had last season. Louisville won the contest 41-39 in a track meet at home. This season, the Cardinals travel to Chestnut Hill and this one could turn into a track meet once again.

Phil Jurkovec received a waiver to play this season and Kobay White, last season’s leading receiver decided not to transfer. David Bailey replaces AJ Dillon in the backfield.

The Cardinals have the offense to score against a thin Boston College defense. The Eagles have turned over their entire coaching staff. The Cardinals might give up a lot of points, but they are going to score lots of points as well.

Final Score: Louisville 49, Boston College 42 (7-3, 6-3)

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Louisville Cardinals played in the track meet of the season in Winston-Salem with the Cardinals winning 62-59. That was without overtime by the way.

This season could be more of the same. Sam Hartman takes over for Jamie Newman, but the offense remains mostly in tact. He played a lot before he got hurt and new Georgia quarterback Jamie Newman took over.

Redshirt junior Sage Surratt is opting out this season, so Hartman has to find a reliable target. Louisville counters with Micale Cunningham, Javian Hartman and Tutu Atwell. There are going to be lots of points in this one, but the Cardinals pull away late.

Final Score: Louisville 42, Wake Forest 28 (8-3, 7-3)
