Auburn’s first two games are Kentucky and Georgia, so it’s fair to think auburn could still be looking for answers to replace all five offensive line starters.

The key for Auburn this year is quarterback Bo Nix, who hasn’t gotten as much attention as you’d expect. Nix is poised to become a Heisman contender in 2020, and with his top target Seth Williams back, they could develop into the best duo in the SEC.

This is going to be yet another mismatch. The speed that Auburn brings is just too much and Arkansas is not at the level to compete with it just yet. In the last four matchups, Auburn has outscored Arkansas 193-33. That’s an average of 48-8. Don’t be at all shocked if that’s in the area of the final of this game.

Prediction: Arkansas 10, Auburn 45 (0-3)

Here’s where Arkansas has a chance.

Ole Miss, much like Arkansas, is in a rebuild after the Matt Luke era. Enter Lane Kiffin, who has a spectacular legacy of coaching that includes a soap opera with the Oakland Raiders, abandoning Tennessee after one season and being fired at an airport and left at said airport while the team flew home.

But Kiffin has redeemed himself at FAU with a 26-13 record and earning yet another chance in the SEC.

Things could truly go either way at Ole Miss.

The Rebels return 12 starters, but lose a lot of rushing production including most of its offensive line. Outside of a great rushing attack, they weren’t great any anything.

This is a game that comes down to the wire. Not necessarily who has the ball last, but it doesn’t look like a double digit win on either side. In the end, thanks to a solid offensive effort and Feleipe Franks throwing for over 300 yards, Arkansas gets the first win of the Sam Pittman era.

Prediction: Ole Miss 24, Arkansas 30 (1-3)
