Florida is a dark-horse College Football Playoff contender this year. This is a Georgia level mismatch.

Quarterback Kyle Trask lead a top 30 passing attack last year and quarterback wizard Dan Mullen should get even more out of him in his senior season.

Even with the improvements that Arkansas will have made over the season, the great coaching of Dan Mullen and speed of the Gators defense that was among the nation’s elite is way too much to overcome.

Look the main storyline going into this game being Feleipe Franks’ return to The Swamp following his transfer.

Arkansas actually defeated Florida in their last meeting in 2016, but don’t expect that to happen in 2020.

Prediction: Arkansas 13, Florida 31 (1-6)

To say LSU’s depth chart has been decimated is an understatement. When you hear people say “LSU lost nearly everybody from last season,” there is zero exaggeration.

Not only that, Joe Brady and Dave Aranda, both coordinators, have also left Baton Rouge. It should be more of a reload than a rebuild, but it could be a tough season.

Still, there are players remaining from a National Championship team that knows how to win. In a game against a team that still doesn’t really know how to win, that might make all the difference.

LSU’s going to be the favorite. They’re going to reload. They’ll likely be in contention for the SEC, while Arkansas will have nothing to lose.

Expect Arkansas to play their butts off in this game. Could this be 2007 all over again?

Prediction: LSU 34, Arkansas 27 (1-7)
