841. Pick Analysis. Nov. 14. Oxford (Miss.). 7. Scouting Report. Ole Miss Rebels. player

South Carolina has added Ole Miss as one of their extra crossover games due to the conference only schedule and this is an intriguing matchup. The Rebels will be looking to surprise some folks this year with new head coach Lane Kiffin and there is some offensive talent in Oxford, starting with quarterback John Rhys Plumlee.

The defense will need to make some big strides if the Rebels want to be respectable this year.

Kiffin is one of the best offensive minds in the game and they have some talent at the skill positions to make some noise. South Carolina may be worn down from facing so many good teams and will overlook the Rebels and face yet another defeat.

Final Score: South Carolina 27, Ole Miss 30 (1-6)

Pick Analysis. Nov. 21. Columbia (S.C.). 8. 822. Scouting Report. Missouri Tigers. player

For this SEC East clash, the Gamecocks will welcome their SEC East rivals the Missouri Tigers into Columbia. Missouri will be without Kelly Bryant and head coach Eli Drinkwitz will be in his first season with the Tigers after coming over from Appalachian State, where he finished 13-1.

Missouri got dealt a tough hand with the schedule and they will be in a similar state of mind as the Gamecocks after playing such a rough slate.

With the game being at home and Missouri missing key pieces from their offense, I think the Gamecocks pull this one out because I’m also not sold on Drinkwitz as a head coach yet.

Final score: South Carolina 28, Missouri 21 (2-6)
