1. Weapons returning

With weapons like wide receivers Demetris Robertson (30 receptions for 333 yards and three touchdowns in 2019) and George Pickens (49 receptions for 727 yards and eight touchdowns) returning, the Bulldogs have the ability to spread the field with their new quarterback in 2020.

Fromm’s leadership and poise shouldn’t be discounted, but a quarterback with Daniels’ ability should be able to tap into this balanced offense even against the better half of its SEC competition.

Georgia has proven offensively that they can spread the ball around, with 10 different players tallying a touchdown reception last season.

Daniels showed his talent during his freshman season at USC in 2018, too. He threw for more than 280 yards on five separate occasions and threw for 14 touchdowns in 11 games for a Trojans squad that looked overwhelmed most of the time against opponents like Stanford, Texas, and Notre Dame.

Behind a powerful offensive line and some serious firepower in Georgia’s offense, Daniels could make some real noise as the Bulldogs’ starting quarterback in 2020 in its SEC-only schedule.
