1. BYU’s offensive line is riddled with NFL talent

The BYU offensive line has three NFL-level players up front, and it was very obvious all game long. Redshirt seniors Tristen Hoge and Chandon Herring were powerful on the right side of the line, but the one that commentator Kirk Herbstreit couldn’t stop bringing up all night was sophomore Clark Barrington. He was dominant all night, creating opportunities in the second level consistently.

This entire offensive line is big and physical, and Navy didn’t have the size to match up all night. Not only did the offensive line open creases all night for the run game, but Zach Wilson had all day to throw in the pocket. It was a dominant performance by the big nasties up front who couldn’t be beaten.

I think that because of this offensive line, you will see more performances like this against BYU, especially with the lessened schedule that they have to play this season. With only eight games to play, you can assume that the Cougars will play hungry and prepared every week this year.
