Wisconsin: Clemson Tigers

This may seem like an odd choice, but my logic should make sense. Each year, I watch Wisconsin destroy weak Big Ten West teams en route to the Big Ten title game. By the time they get there, nobody knows if they’re good or bad because they haven’t faced any real competition. Not facing real competition until the end of the season is Clemson’s calling card, and so I’m giving Wisconsin fans to the Tigers.

Penn State: Oklahoma Sooners

Penn State and Oklahoma are both teams that seem really threatening in the middle of the season. Then, they play somebody better than them and can’t step up to the challenge. At the very least, these teams have some top-level talent on the roster and keep their games fun to watch.

Ohio State: Alabama Crimson Tide

This was a tough one to do, especially considering Ohio State’s success over the past few seasons in the Big Ten. Normally, Alabama would have been an easy pick. But after an off-year from the Crimson Tide, they might not be the team to beat anymore. Regardless, this should be a bounce-back year in Tuscaloosa and Ohio State fans won’t miss a beat while watching their team destroy anybody in their path.
