Here comes trouble. Tennessee hasn’t defeated Georgia since 2016 in what was one of the greatest games of the decade. Since then, it hasn’t even been close. Georgia has outscored Tennessee 122-26 in three games.

Unfortunately, there’s not much reason to think that trend will change. Georgia is one of the best teams in the country and they’re loaded from top to bottom.

If Tennessee is to win this game, they’ll need to take advantage of the relatively young offensive line of the Bulldogs. They’ll need to break through and stop Georgia’s redshirt freshman running back Zamir White, who has All-American potential.

In the end, the power of Georgia is just too much for the Vols to overcome.

Prediction: Tennessee 20, Georgia 45 (2-1)

Kentucky has actually been fairly impressive over the last four seasons. But things might be rough this season.

Gone is Lynn Bowden, who led the team in rushing and receiving, and somehow was only about 200 yards shy of leading the team in passing as well. He wasn’t a real Heisman candidate, but he was the most important player on their team.

The job to replace Bowden is huge, as it’ll likely be up to Terry Wilson, who’s never really impressed. If Kentucky can fix that problem, this is a dangerous team.

Kentucky actually has some pretty good athletes on their team now. Lots of size and speed, completely different from the Kentucky teams of the first half of the decade. Unfortunately, the loss of Bowden is just too much, especially this early.

Prediction: Kentucky 23, Tennessee 31 (3-1)
