2. (23) Kentucky vs. (8) Auburn

The most underrated game of the weekend pits a team with high talent and little experience against a less talented team with loads of experience.

Kentucky travels to Auburn as the most overlooked team in the SEC and looking to pull an early season upset and set themselves up for a big season.

Auburn will be looking to showcase quarterback Bo Nix and this offense under former Arkansas and SMU head coach Chad Morris. Auburn is replacing four starters on their defensive line, a lot of their secondary, and standout defensive linemen Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson.

That could be a bad recipe against a very experienced Kentucky team that will be very good on the defensive side of the football. Kentucky will also be welcoming back quarterback Terry Wilson and he will be looking to bring more balance to the offense.

This is a game with playoff implications because both teams are capable of having big seasons and a win here would set either team in the right direction. Kentucky loves playing the role of spoiler and that is what they could be on Saturday as they look to show that the SEC East is much more than Georgia and Florida. This will be a great game and one that could hold some weight later in the year.
