UAB running back Spencer Brown is the main reason why the Blazers was able to dominate in the way that they did.

The game plan that UAB came out with was brilliant. They used the lack of knowledge and tape that South Alabama had on quarterback Bryson Lucero and got the South Alabama defense tongue-twisted on the first snap of the game. That opened massive running lanes for Brown to work with.

Brown scored three touchdowns in the first half, and killed it with his running style. He runs with some real power and has some wheels once he gets into space too.

The best thing about Brown? When back-up running back DeWayne McBride scored the touchdown in the fourth quarter, Brown was the first guy on the field (from the sideline) to congratulate him. Brown had an opportunity to score his fourth touchdown of the night, but gave it up to his teammate who had positioned the team to score and move up 42-10.

Brown is a phenomenal leader and an incredible person.
