2. Bo Nix is going to ball out vs. talented Kentucky defense.

Bo Nix may be one of the most-watched quarterbacks in the SEC by scouts and fans. The 6-foot-2, 207-pounder’s freshman campaign saw him win his first game of the season against Oregon on a come from behind basis, break two Auburn freshman records for passing yards and touchdowns and, most importantly, beat Alabama.

His season ultimately earned him the SEC Freshman of the Year Award, becoming the first true freshman starter at Auburn in more than 70 years and leading his team to a 9-5 record. Wow. Take that all in.

Nix is going to be a top pick in the 2022 NFL Draft because even if his next two years aren’t as good, as long as they aren’t terrible, you could very well see a team stretch for him in the first round in an always quarterback-hungry league.

That being said, Kentucky’s defense is very formidable, but with the way he performed against better defenses like the Tide’s, it will be a great test.

The gap between both Kentucky and Auburn is not as big as you think. The game will come down to whether Nix can play well and the defense is able to stop any running attack and dare Kentucky to throw more than they want.

I do expect Nix to do just that, and like I said in the caption “ball out” with at least two passing touchdowns and one rushing score.
