4. TCU at No. 9 Texas

Texas almost sent the Big 12’s playoff hopes up in smoke last Saturday with their near death experience in Lubbock. Trailing 56-41 with three minutes left, Texas mounted a comeback to keep their playoff hopes alive, as well as the Big 12’s.

TCU got their season started on the wrong foot with a loss to an Iowa State team that was coming off a loss to Louisiana. TCU is still trying to find a rhythm on offense and they will need to find it because this Texas defense is not good and the Horned Frogs have a chance to pull off the upset.

This game has major playoff implications because of the fact that the Big 12’s playoff hopes are dwindling and they may lay with Texas. With Oklahoma losing, all hopes might lie on Texas or Oklahoma State going undefeated. Pressure follows the Longhorns every week because people want Texas to be back and are waiting for them to be back or relish in their defeat.

TCU will be ready to play on Saturday and Texas needs a better showing than last week to show they are a contender.
