4. D’Eriq King, QB, Miami

D’Eriq King has led Miami to a 3-0 start while throwing for 736 yards and six touchdowns and rushing for 157 yards.

New offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee has unlocked something special with this Miami offense led by King. The Hurricanes’ offense has put up 31, 47 and 52 points to start their season.

King’s stats haven’t been super impressive compared to some of the other quarterbacks, but with this offense resurgence from Miami, he still belongs near the top of the Heisman watch list.

The senior transfer has arguably the biggest game of his career coming up this week against Clemson. This game has huge implications for the ACC. Whoever wins on Saturday puts themselves in the driver’s seat for an ACC title game birth. If King is able to lead the Hurricanes to a huge upset victory over Clemson, he’ll continue to climb up the Heisman leaderboard.
