3. CJ Marable, RB, Coastal Carolina

Versatility is the most important trait on this award, and CJ Marable certainly fits that category. Coastal Carolina hasn’t been an FBS school for very long on the football front. They joined the Sun Belt in 2017, and have yet to compile a winning season at the FBS level.

So far this year, however, Coastal Carolina has started 3-0 and a lot of the credit is due to Marable and the way that the Chanticleers can use him.

Marable is a running back who can catch the ball out of the backfield and has already done very well for himself doing just that. He also handles kick return duties, and so far this season has scored four touchdowns through the first three games.
