Previous: 6th. Tigers . 6. team. 842. . 1-1

The Auburn Tigers skirted past Kentucky in the first week and then were dominated by Stetson Bennett and Georgia from start to finish. Bo Nix wasn’t the best quarterback on the field on Saturday night and it showed. He was outplayed by Bennett and shut out by the Georgia defense. Now, they prepare to face off against an Arkansas team that no one truly understands as of yet.

5. team. 817. . 1-1. Previous: 5th. Tigers

The LSU Tigers are an interesting team. I’m not sure how I feel about a team that lost to a team that lost to Arkansas, but after they blew past Vanderbilt, 41-7, they don’t move in my rankings. Myles Brennan looked like he grew from the first week to the second and will be prepared to take on a lesser Missouri team next week. However, it’s the Florida matchup the week after that which worries me for the Tigers.

839. . 2-0. Previous: 8th. Volunteers . 4. team

I don’t like this as I’m not a huge fan of Tennessee, but here we are as they are 2-0, the Volunteers jump up four spots after quite literally running all over Missouri. However, a near-loss to South Carolina and a win over Missouri doesn’t exactly constitute a strong 2-0 start. We will see what this team is really made of when they play Stetson Bennett and Georgia in the coming week.
