2. Kyren Williams averages 100 yards per game

There’s a duo forming in the backfield that might not get as much attention as it truly deserves nationally, but Kyren Williams and C’Bo Flemister might just take the ACC by storm this season.

Through two games, the duo has combined for 301 yards and three touchdowns on just 42 carries. Both guys make the most of their touches as Williams averages 6.0 yards per touch and Flemister is up at 9.8 per carry. Trying to stop these guys has not been easy for opposing defenses and that’s going to continue in October.

While Flemister has been the home run threat thus far, I’m going with Williams to continue his ways as the No. 1 running back who will get the bulk of the carries and I’ll say he averages over 100 yards per game on the month.

Against teams like Georgia Tech and Florida State, he should flourish. The matchups with Pitt and Louisville may be slightly tougher, but he can get the job done.

As long as Notre Dame’s offensive line keeps playing well, the sky is the limit for Williams.
