839. . 2-1. Previous: 4th. Volunteers . 6. team

The Volunteers fall two spots after falling to Georgia 44-21 on Saturday afternoon in the game of the week. While many thought they would hang in more, they just didn’t. They were likely just a couple big plays away from winning this game, but they just weren’t able to do that. Now, they take on Kentucky and should improve to 3-1, though I could see them losing this one as well.

841. . 1-2. Previous: 10th. Rebels . 5. team

Despite being 1-2, the Rebels moved up five spots after hanging in with Alabama punch for punch. The Ole Miss offense has them ranked within the top five for me. Now, they face off against Arkansas in a game they should win now that they were able to hang with Alabama, but crazier things have happened.

840. . 2-1. Previous: 2nd. Gators . 4. team

The Gators fall out of the top three after being knocked off by Texas A&M on the road. It was a shootout, but the Aggies came out on top thanks to a forced fumble and a last-minute field goal. Now they face off against an LSU team with a lack of defense and a loss to Missouri on its resume. Will the Gators get back on track? They should, but we will see.
