College Football 2020: 5 games with biggest playoff implications in Week 7
1. No. 3 Georgia at No. 2 Alabama
The game of the year has arrived.
A battle between the two best teams in the SEC and two of the most talented teams in the country will take place on Saturday night and these two teams always seem to play a classic.
The last two games have ended in heartbreak for the Bulldogs and they are hoping to prove that they are the best team in the SEC and a contender for the national championship. This will be the stiffest test of the year for Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett IV and he will need to put together a complete game if the Dawgs hope to escape Tuscaloosa with a victory.
Alabama will be without head coach Nick Saban for this game and that will be a huge obstacle to overcome for the Tide. Alabama will miss his leadership and his ability to adjust on the fly. Steve Sarkisian has head coaching experience, but he is not Saban.
Alabama’s defense needs to play better than it did last week, when it gave up 48 points to Ole Miss. Lucky for Alabama, it has what looks to be the most dangerous offense in the country and it will need to be on its game going against that elite Bulldog defense.
Should be a fun one Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.
