1. Arkansas is really bad in the second half, contrary to Ole Miss

Arkansas is clearly not a second-half team (see Georgia’s 32 second half points in the season opener), being outscored by their opponents 49-36 after halftime this season. Lucky for Ole Miss, 76 of the team’s 125 points have come in the second half and overtime. In comparison, Arkansas has scored just 59 points total this season.

In their opening game of the season, Arkansas held a surprising 7-5 lead against the Georgia Bulldogs. Then Georgia proceeded to outscore Arkansas 22-3 in the third quarter alone, out-gaining the Razorbacks 132-69, while forcing two turnovers.

Ole Miss, on the other hand, has surrendered an unsightly 85 points in the second half and overtime. Yikes.

Still, the dynamic nature of the Ole Miss offense combined with the ineptness of Arkansas’ offense is a matchup that favors the Rebels.

Lane Kiffin and company should be able to enjoy a victory on Saturday, thanks in part to the quiet greatness of Matt Corral.
